What We Assess

Four Things We Look At Before Anything Is Recommended.

Prakriti Natural constitution
Vikriti Current imbalance
Agni Digestive & metabolic strength
Hetu Contributing factors

Prakriti

Your natural body type — how your body and mind are constituted from birth, determined by the involvement of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).

Vikriti

Your current state of health — the imbalance of doshas that develops over time through unhealthy diet, lifestyle and lack of sleep.

Agni

The digestive and metabolic fire, and whether Ama — improperly processed metabolic waste — has accumulated as a result.

Hetu

The habits, history and circumstances that contributed to the condition developing in the first place.

Step One

Detailed Consultation

An in-depth discussion of symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and daily habits, to understand your condition fully.

01

Prakriti & Vikriti Assessment

Your constitution from birth, set against the imbalance that has developed over time.

02

Estimation of Agni & Ama

Digestive and metabolic fire, and whether improperly processed metabolic waste has accumulated.

03

Lifestyle Assessment

Evaluation of sleep, diet and physical activity as they actually are, day to day.

Treatment Protocol

The Trisutra Principles.

After understanding the root cause, our Ayurveda expert applies the Ayurveda Trisutra principles — Aahar, Aushadhi and Vihaar — to restore Tridosha balance and improve Agni.

Aahar (Diet)

A personalized diet plan — Pathya (what to eat) and Apathya (what to avoid) — advised during consultation.

Aushadhi (Medicine)

Ayurvedic medicine formulations, based on the root-cause analysis of the condition, prescribed to the patient.

Vihaar (Lifestyle)

Meditation, Marma Chikitsa and other lifestyle actions advised as per the condition.

Panchakarma (Personalized Therapy)

Therapy sessions are advised as per the condition, and always follow consultation and assessment rather than being booked on their own.

A Word of Caution

Herbs Are Not One-Size-Fits-All.

Many people begin taking Ayurvedic herbs and supplements after watching social media videos, reading online articles, or on the advice of friends and relatives. Ayurveda does not recommend taking medicines without proper root-cause analysis.

Before prescribing medicines, Ayurveda considers:

Prakriti

Body Constitution

Your natural body type.

Vikriti

Current Imbalance

The present disturbance in the doshas.

Nidana

Root Cause Analysis

Why the condition developed.

Agni

Digestive & Metabolic Strength

How well your body digests and metabolizes food.

Ama

Toxin Accumulation

Whether undigested metabolic waste is present.

Samprapti Avastha

Disease Stage

The progression and severity of the condition.

Also considered: age, lifestyle, diet and other individual factors. Only after understanding these does an Ayurvedic physician select the appropriate medicine, dosage, diet and lifestyle recommendations.
